A Poem About Daylight Savings Time End


I did not know
That today
Daylight Savings Time ends

I awoke several times
Wanting to start my Day
but it wasn't to be
It was still dark

And so it was still dark
After the second
and third attempt

Finally
My dog woke me up
And he was insistent
So I got up and saw the time
It was almost nine in the morning
WRONG
It was almost eight in the morning

Now, I sit at my desk
And wonder what the fuss was all about?
