A man questions Love without ever touching her
Love without a Touch

I was about to part, now I must stay.
I saw her beauty from across the way.
I'm drawn to her, like a moth to light,
My captured heart is now my plight.
With angst I watch her every move,
The sweat from my brow, I must remove.
My hands are shaking, my knees grow weak.
My heart is trembling, I can hardly speak.
My breath now labored and shallow,
My mouth so dry I cannot swallow.
These feelings I have, I never felt such.
Is this the feeling of love, without a touch?

Glints of light shine thru her hair,
My eyes follow her every curve.
Her beauty and elegance can't be ignored,
My curiosity of her I need to explore.
She is so captivating in every form,
Not able to touch her, I am torn.
My feelings overwhelm me so much,
Is it possible to love, without ever a touch?
