for the Writer's Cramp
We had grand designs
for making memories
in the garden of dreams,
as we strolled hand in hand
along the winding path
in Lakeside Park.

But COVID took you from me,
so I am doing the best I can,
finding my way through this life,
until I can join you
in that garden of dreams
up yonder.
