I had to write a villanelle for ELA class; this is my first poem.
I know you are still up above
Even in my darkest day
I can still feel your love

you’re flying high like a dove
I try to find my own way
I know you are still up above

You fit me like a glove
ripped when you went away
I can still feel your love

Wind is your heavenly shove
Used to remind me every day
I know you are still up above

Reminded of what I’m made of
Even when In the dark I lay
I can still feel your love`

Though you aren’t here beloved
And I’m still in dismay
I know you are still up above
I can still feel your love
