Some Asian Poetry forms:

Japanese: Haiku, Senryu, Tanka, Renga, Dodoitsu, Imayo, Zappai

Korean: Sijo,

Burmese: Climbing Rhyme,


(Feel free to tell me about more Asian poetry forms that I can add to my list)


I like to write Haiku. It's fun and a challenge to come up with a flowing concise thought in only 17 or 29 syllables or less!
