A Reason A Season And A Lifetime

This is a story about a sheltered accounting geek from a small rural town who places himself in an urban setting where he lets himself loose for the first time in his life and breaks all the rules.

Please don’t be intimidated by its size. It’s no Hemmingway or Dickens but I’m told it’s a fun, fast, easy read -- don't take my word for it, check out these reviews:

It’s got a little of something for everyone: action, suspense, crime, a car chase, fantasy worlds, neuroses, violence, gambling, romance, a little bit of comedy (I hope), sex, drugs, and rock and roll. I even embedded one of my favorite recipes in it. Give it a try.

Warning: It does contain mature content and if you're offended by colorful language you might not want to read my novella. It also contains a few explicate scenes that can be easily identified by a row of '****'. These prose can easily be skipped over, if you wish, without losing much of the story line.

If you do decide to read this story, may I recommend that you print it out first. If you’re anything like me, it’s so much easier and enjoyable to read something on paper than it is on a screen -- especially a large piece such as this.
