Is falling in love really like commiting suicide?
The view of the world is beautiful now
I'm standing at the cliff's rocky end
I'm hanging on here somehow
How will they know what I intend?
Down below I know an angel will wait
I can hear the quiet rapping of his wings
I close my eyes and accept my fate
The Gates of Heaven open and my angel sings
Old friends and lovers call to me
"Do not fall! Do not fall!"
Too late; I'm rushing down to the sea
No longer will I be trapped by their sufficating walls
Suicide is what they believe
But they didn't know something
To the minds, it may be hard to conceive
The angel offered me his ring
I fell straight from a place with little air
Into the arms of someone incredibly strong
Was it suicide when I live without a care?
When I'm still alive and right where I belong?
