A poem about grace, salvation, and all the good things in between
When was the last time you had a chore
When was the last time you were with a sex whore
When was the last time you had a argument with your wife or husband
And slammed down on the door
You see God hates sin
But God loves us humans
The day we die
Will determine where we will go
Heaven or hell it is not like a game show
Jesus Christ is all there is too this life
Nothing more nothing less to work or strive
I’m no entertainer
I only have a creative mind
Which I write this to you
So you hopefully won’t become blind
To the world’s ways of thinking
To the Ocean where lost souls will be sinking
God gave the birds a voice to chirp
God gave dogs legs to swim
In case they need to for help
I know it may sound absurd
Because God says, ‘This is who I created to be’
‘I didn’t make humans into robots or trees’
Becoming someone we are not
Will destroy our image in God
In this life there will be difficulty
Hard work and strife
But in Heaven there will be rest
And eternal life
The world may want more from us
But God only gave us certain talents and gifts
He did not make us into someone else
All He wants from us is love
Love for Him love for others
Not being critical or judgmental
But in all things honesty and sentimental
Some of us here may have been bought into that big lie
That needing something else instead of what God has given us
To become great in the eyes of the world and other lies
That hinder our being our character of love
Be thankful for the things you have
Not to wanting more or hoping for a better future
Instead be glad
Be glad that the purpose you have been given
Is not to become what the world expects of you
But to be in God’s shoes
Meaning you already have a purpose
With the one or many things God gave you
As a person a human being
By the way you were purchased by His blood
That is all we really need in this life
Not riches or fame
Not even being undercut
Many things God has given us
Is all we need so we shouldn’t fuss
Or get mad at God
Thinking we need some other status or reputation
Because He made you He made me
That is all we have to be grateful
And the only person we need to be
So since the beginning ever you were made into this world
As a tiny little infant
God knew your plan
Which in His time you would come back to Him
To His salvation plan
Because that is all we really need to exist and in this life
We don’t really need to work hard or strive
To become someone God never planned us to be in the first place
We have all we need to finish this race
Against the world, our flesh, and Satan
We are blessed and not shaken
Because God is not against us
He is for us
Because His specific plan is salvation
Nothing more nothing less
All He wants from us is for our joy and happiness
In who He has placed onto this Earth
He even knew us the mistakes we would make
Even before our own birth
Before you go chasing after something you don’t have
Pray if you can achieve it
If God has given you that gift
Because I don’t want you to fall into that lie
That you need to be loved
By a status or reputation and others
We should just be thankful for one another
Before I close I will say this
God really does love each and every person
We don’t need to become another version
Of ourselves
Or this guy who is just placed on a wooden shelf
I will close with a statement
The world will eat you up even before you make a decision
The decision that God loves you
Or to become something else
That you don’t even have too
When was the last time
You crossed God’s line
