I've had writers block for awhile, so sorry if this isnt the best
Sitting here thinking,
My world slowly shrinking.
Tears come to my eyes,
When its time for the last goodbyes.

I stand up slowly, walking towards the door.
Never looking up from the floor.

When the car pulls up,
My legs tremble as I remember,
That one cold December,
When we roasted marshmallows
And threw around our pillows

The tears flow freely when she steps out of the car.
"You promised" she sobs
"Well your the one going to live with those dogs"

She laughs, and slugs me in the shoulder
"I'll miss you turkey feet, we will be all the way across the border"
I smile through my tears
"Fish face I'll make this clear
I will definetly visit you every year"

One last hug and she's back in the car,
I wave, and watch as they drive away,
Keeping my jealousy at bay
I pray that someday
I will get over the fact that she left.
