a brief poem about a dependent relationship and I haven't decided if it's bad.
Lost

When I wander, I get lost.
I look for you to find me.
For you to see me homeward.
I look for you to guide me.

You seem able to feel me.
Even in my darkest depths.
Grab my hand and guide my heart.
Gently wipe the tears I’ve wept.

When I can’t hear you sighing.
You stare calmly in one eye.
When I fear I’m lost to you?
You shelter me not to cry.

You’ve heard all sad songs from me.
Surely know the bitter drum.
Swept up in my pittiness.
The storms want and seem to hum.

When the storm has its way.
Torn clothes, tattered feelings.
I hold tight like my last breath.
Our future lives I’m stealing.

All these things so personal.
Flow easily from my mind.
Remind me, I’m just like you.
Just more lost and not so kind.
