You don’t tell time, time tells you. — Chumbawamba
He has never been late
Or wrong
Infinitely patient
He waits for nothing
Everything waits for him
And his steady kick

         Tick

He’s unstoppable
In endless motion
From potential to certainty
Never looking back
How quickly he flies
How slowly he walks

         Tock

He was black and white
Now in color, fading
He'll meet you in the
Fourth dimension
Not once has he lied
But sometimes he play tricks

         Tick

He is a murderer
The only difference between
Life and death
He will never be punished
For what he has done
If only he could talk

         Tock

He heals all
Eventually
He can make anything
Insignificant (even you)
There is no problem
He can’t fix

         Tick

He can never rest
Nothing happens without him
And no one escapes
From his grip
Living or not,
All answer to the clock

         Tock
