Reflecting on the past
Over in the native land,
Kiowa, Comanche, Apache,
Little do we think of those
Assimilated, slaughtered, moved
Here in their homeland.
Oklahoma pretends all is OK.
My own hands may be bloody;
Another piece of misunderstood history.
