another children's poem for those who can still believe

Imagination

If I were to see a giant pig fly,
flapping great wings up in the sky.
I'd skip and I'd jump and I would start to dance.
And, maybe just maybe, a little tap dance.

If I were to see a silvery fish sing,
great mouthfuls of notes shoot from within.
I'd swim and I'd splash, and I'd join him in play.
And try not to drown as I managed to sway.

If I were to see a deer painting my face,
with a giant wet brush, drawing with grace.
I'd smile and I'd laugh and I'd push my lips out.
And try not to stop him as I gave a big shout.

If I were to see a hen in a car,
drinking martinis from her tiny pink bar.
I'd giggle and I'd grin and I'd offer to drive.
We both laugh with joy at being alive.
