Poetry about the beautiful stars that show up once a year
The Stars of Early Spring

The white popcorn scattered across an emerald sea,
struggles against the efforts of that old man.
It knows its life is nothing but brief,
Yet still it stands for a while,
Pressing upward into the sky
Saying for that one small moment
"Here I am"
