Allegory, brief description |
"No matter how many times he tried, the ceiling above his head didn't let him fly, " - she was reading one of her favorite books. Her eyelids felt heavier and heavier and falling into a dream or meditation she found herself in some strange place. On the ground floor was very hot and sweaty, crowded, smells of bodies. Someone cooked meat: this gray dirty foam or bloody flesh. A little higher on the second floor she felt severe headache, everything was dairy and cheese, one was offending another, often somebody did not want to talk. There was a heavy fog on the third floor. Some tenants lost their mind. The blind lead the blind. Dirty water. Gluten. Ceiling. But what was on the fourth floor?! Without realizing it, she somehow penetrated through the ceiling. It seemed completely empty . And still fear lived on this floor, or rather a lot of fears - from the biggest to the smallest. Alcohol. And from the fourth to the fifth was already at hand. And as you probably already guessed the fifth the floor was full of prejudices and superstitions. Sugar. And what's next? She kept going... At the sound of the key turning in the door lock, she shuddered and opened her eyes... From the review by Prosperous Snow : "The first paragraph hooked me with the ceiling not letting someone fly. The descriptions are part of the action and move the plot forward at a good pace. I like the climax with the main character waking up without finishing the dream. I enjoyed reading this story because of the descriptions of the floors. Write on!" |
