A poem of the struggles of being at peace in life
"I'm tired"
I say, eyes barely open.
"You work to hard"
They say, but do they understand?
I have to play the part,
I have to work so hard.
I have to go far.

If I don't go far, where else will I go?
They say they're concerned,
I don't want them to hurt.
I know I'm not the best,
everything feels like a test.
I never truly rest.

But that's the way I like it,
that's the way I live.
I'm sorry,
please don't worry.
I'll try for a hug,
even though contact still bugs,
me, to almost no end.
You're warm and I'm cold,
I can't even pretend,
that we are the same here.
I'm doing this all wrong,
I was never taught this stuff,
So now it's really tough,
but I'm trying to learn.
