Life's a Priceless Gift

Don’t cry about the unseen
Regardless be thankful for life
With integrity you must act
For life is not a game
Thoughts may come back to haunt you
If you act negatively in some way
Actions lead towards your destination
Labelling you for eternity

I tend to live my life
Unseen and unheard
No one to embrace in my arms
For true love is not a game
Wealth never should never be pursued
Over ones true worth
My life burns brightly before you all
With humility I serve

For many lonely years
Have I walked in this life alone
Hiding within plain sight
My true love has been framed
Encased within darkness and despair
I’ve died in life many times
But I will not trade my honor
For an eternity spent in hell

Although I’ve given much away
Throughout my entire life
My soul still burns brightly
