Poem about Saint Patrick of Ireland
St. Patrick of Ireland

Sent as a slave to man, beaten, and hated,
They are treated worse than cattle, dogs, and vermin.
Patience won the day when he escaped and was free:
Attended a Seminary, became a priest to Save
Those who tormented him through love and kindness.
Raised those who needed Salvation through Christ,
Including those who believed themselves unworthy of redemption.
Catholics Rejoice! A voice was heard in Ireland!
Kindness, Love, Compassion, and Forgiveness won the day!
Seeking out all those who would despise or hurt him in the name of vengeance.
Deliverance and redemption what he shared to all those who listened.
Any who came to him willingly was welcomed and Saved before the Lord!/size}
Years turned into decades and his life became his Passion.
