Sentinel Marked as if you own me I bow before the Bitterroots and just like you my rocky soil, my withered grass lays prey to the empty sky. © Kåre Enga 2007 "Sentinel" Reader's Choice of Poems: "Sentinel" "In Lagada, la vita" "Waterlily" "Boise City" "Willowsong" Reader's Choice of blog entries from my old blog "L'aura del Campo" : "Death of Jeannie New Moon" "Winter: 18 Mas'il (December 29)" "When is it proper to tell someone you love them?" ...but you'll have to wait. Talked to a Turk from SW Turkey today. As he said... look at the eyes to know whether the smile is genuine... and he's right. I need a magic wand. Can I borrow yours? I intend to marvel at the variety of food I'll get to sample. Must remember to gather addresses again and send postcards. I don't expect to see any monsters... but one never knows. MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE: That was a short pale scream. Brought to you by trying to decide where to go and where to be. I reserved a bed in Narita, Japan for March 4th and 5th. For 4100 yen/2 nights. I reserved a bed in Lisbon for April 23rd, 24th and 25th. About 30 euros/three nights. I may as well try to reserve as many places as I can this weekend. The library is closed Monday but most other places aren't. Like Honolulu! I found a place then read the fine print... no one over 45 years old. So... back to lists and checking them twice. 12 more days. They go by fast. |
