Ombra mai fu - Largo from Xerxes by Handel [E]
Entry 29.

🌸 pwheeler - love joy peace: I could add

as I'd like it to be played at my funeral. It's a 'first' memory from when I was 3. Another is "Greensleeves" and another my father reading the newspaper in the over-stuffed chair by the front door while sunbeams lit the scene etched in my mind. The word halcyon described it. It was possibly Saturday, but most probably Sunday. "Greensleeves" also takes me back to the small back bedroom (ours until my parents switched rooms when we were little).

This song is very peaceful. I had gardens from when I was nine. Later as an adult I would work in my gardens past twilight until I couldn't see. I have houseplants in Montana but it isn't the same thing. If I stay in Thailand I'd love to have a garden again. At least here in Udon Thani and in Missoula, the alleys have weeds and abandoned plants that flower.

I take photos. But actually working the soil with my hands would help my depression and anxiety.
