| Here is a thought: AI or MI (Machine Learning) will take a dominant role in writing stories someday. I have experienced characters coming alive in stories all the time and that is what keeps me reading and writing stories. Imagine reading cheap books well written in any genre the reader likes. Now, imagine if the reader had control of the story. For example, give me a book a bit more steamy. Or, how about aliens show up? Or, I want to read the book the president is reading right now. Computers will be able to make this happen with a speed humans can not emulate. Writers can be more like composers or maybe the conductor of an orchestra. Granted, we are not there yet, but someday soon, I imagine we will be there. That doesn't mean we can't still enjoy a life without computers. Life is still grand for wetware folks!
