| Prayer prompt: Pick a family and pray for each individual member and the family as a whole. blog prompt: Write about your prayer life. I don't have a great prayer life. I'm not even sure it could be considered good. I try to be open to the Holy Spirit, and when I see a prayer request or have someone come to mind, I try to offer a prayer up for God to minister and give direction in times of difficulty. I've seen the movie "War Room" about a devout sister who has learned to be a prayer warrior. My youngest daughter set up a place in her house to be a prayer room. I'm by myself for most of each day during the week, so I have ample time to pray and beseech God for his mercy and blessings and guidance. I fall short so many times, but I do want to try to get better at it. I also pray for those who request prayer for whatever they may need, or are seeking.  |
