A new attempt to create a blog. |
Today has finally arrived and we have SO MUCH to do! We've been up since 6ish and started working. We've hung the rest of the Christmas stuff...up high so the cat cannot reach it. She's already halfway destroyed the tree.  My kitchen is spotless and set up so all is ready to go. I made sure Hubby had a good breakfast and a whole pot of coffee. He is now setting up my long folding table in the living room while I type this. I can't stay on very long...as I need to help soon. He's getting it ready for me, we will need the extra work space soon. We have THREE Walmart orders coming this afternoon. I can only get $1000 at a time for some reason, so I had to break my order up into three separate ones. The first is scheduled to arrive between 2-3, the second between 3=4 and the last order is to arrive between 4-5. I have massive amount of prep work to do today. ALL the veggies need cleaned, chopped and bagged so they will be easy and ready to go in the next few days. I've got 20 pounds of chicken quarters that will need to be boiled, deboned and bagged for the freezer, then the broth from the chicken needs to be jarred up and frozen as well. Tomorrow, I will be making casseroles, pies, tarts, cakes, and a cobbler. I also plan to make my Mom's homemade hot chocolate and put it in a plastic bin I've been saving. Also have a delivery from Amazon, two 25 pound bags of whole grain oats will be arriving and I'll need to divide one of those bags into smaller bags for the cupboard and store the other bag. If all goes well, I may get an early start on the casseroles and bake a few tonight even. ** Image ID #1665990 Unavailable **  |
