Sun Secrets
The sun discloses secrets
to close companion planets

while forsaken stars
aligned behind are bitter,
blinking in & winking out
waiting for her mighty light.

The moon is sympathetic
having been at times
(of course) outshined &
overlooked, kept in the dark

but in the deepest distance
asteroids, meteors & comets
carry on without a clue.

On earth, the beams of light
give away her confidential
codes & keys, capriciously.
