5-11: @#!$#@^%$&#@$%*! and Old Singer
Questions for May 11th: If you could eliminate one habit you have, what would you stop doing?

@#!$#@^%$&#@$%*!

Yep, you got it folks. I have a trashy mouth in real life. So, instead of saying, "What a @#!$#@^%$&#@$%*! way to @#!$#@^%$&#@$%*! perform the @#!$#@^%$&#@$%*! job I've @#!$#@^%$&#@$%*! shown you @#!$#@^%$&#@$%*! three @#!$#@^%$&#@$%*! times to do," at the drop of the proverbial hat. I would like to say things more appropriate and to the point. Like, "What a different way to perform the job I've shown you three times to do. Now tell me, when will you learn how to do it right?"

If you could find one thing, besides money, in your family attic, what would you want to discover?

Old Singer

Well if ever I had a family attic, which I don't and never had, I think I would like to find my Grandmother's peddle operated Singer sewing machine. It would bring back all those really good moments when I helped her sew by pushing the peddle up and down for her when her ankles got tired. I was very young, maybe four and five but I remember the feeling of doing something very important for my Grams and she always appreciated my help by giving me an old fashioned peppermint stick candy. (Which might explain a little bit why my teeth are such high maintenance now. Ho Hum).

Take care and may your road lead to only good places.

Deb

Compassion and the effort to try and understand some thing that was not understood before is a step toward acceptance not only of others but most importantly of yourself.
