The Diaper Monster

The Diaper Monster

This morning at four
I heard a rap at my door.
Thinking it my muse
I rose from my snooze.
I walked through the dark
and heard my dog bark.
I cursed him his noise
then tripped on some toys.

Rising up pained
my nightgown now stained
all bruised and bloody
I called, "Hey Buddy!
It's four in the morn
My nightgown is torn,
What do you want from me?"

"Oh, just come and see!!!"
He answered with glee.

So I picked up my pace
to the door I did race.
I peaked through the glass
and saw a big mass.
Oh what could this be?
I thought curiously.

Opening the door with a shout
Suddenly I was pulled out
Gripped by a creature so bad
I cried for my dad.
It had glowing brown eyes
so enormously sized.
And its arms were all green
and its stench was quite mean.
It passed gas as it walked
and more when it talked.

"What are you?" I said.
I knew I was dead.

It answered me then
with a fart sprinkled grin:
"Don't you know me, dear?
The diaper monster is here!"
It cackled at me,
Then started to pee.

Then oh how I cried.
I screamed, I lied.
"Let me go," I begged
as it chomped on my leg.
Then all became dark
as my but hit the mark
I was deep within
the diaper monster's bin.

All around me were bumps
of neatly packed poo.
All stacked up in lumps
They stank, I tell you.

I held my nose shut
and called for my mutt.

But all wasn't lost
for in bed I still tossed.

I heard a wee fart
and I woke with a start.

I picked up my wee one
thankful the dream was done.
