| Prompt: Write about a first kiss in the comedy genre. Annette was so excited as she put on her short, red lace dress for the dance. Her long blonde hair made her look like a Goddess. Seth had finally asked her out for a date . He had dark hair, blue piercing eyes and a killer smile. She had been crushing on him for so long and they had talked a few times. He had finally asked her out. She had heard angels rejoicing for her. Seth came to the door and her mother let him in. He had a red rose corsage bracelet that he put on Annette's wrist. They drove to the school dance and walked in the fancy hotel's ball room holding hands as they only had eyes for each other. They greeted their friends and danced the first dance to Taylor Swift's " Love Story" song ." Seth looked into Annette's eyes and drew her face close to kiss her. The clumsy kid Horton bumped into them and Annette fell on the floor. Seth wanted to punch him. With a mumbled apology, Horton walked away. Annette and Seth danced to a few more songs. He attempted to kiss her again but the one band member fell off stage and his guitar slid across the floor and Seth jumped out of the way. " That was close. I still have my leg and body parts intact. I like you, Annette. I truly do. You are beautiful. I just wish we could have our first kiss." Seth sighed. "Me, too. I have been waiting forever for you to ask me out. Every girl in school has been after you." Seth pulled Annette in his arms and really wanted this kiss. Their lips almost met and a skunk ran over Annette's red shoes and tried to crawl up her leg. She screamed and three boys chased the skunk out with a broom and didn't hurt him. Seth and Annette laughed. "Why can't we have this kiss? This has been fun even though it is strange. As long as we are alright." Seth put his arm around Annette. "I'm fine. We will never forget this night. I am glad I am sharing this night with you."" The dance was over and Seth and Annette got into his car. Seth bought his lips to Annette's and a loud clap of thunder interrupted the kiss. They laughed. He tried to kiss her again. A car was honking it's horn and it startled them. "Shall we try again? Seth asked. Annette nodded. Seth pulled Annette close and something landed on the car. A hoot owl! Seth rolled down his window. "Hey Buddy! We are having a romantic moment. Do you mind?" Seth asked. The hoot owl flew away .Finally, the kiss they had waited for. Their lips met. A nice soft, warm kiss that tasted like wine.
