Today is a link in the chain
uniting yesterday and tomorrow,
and a moment in history
ascending into the space-time continuum.


Waves rolling into the shore
deposit shells,
and grain by grain
carry continents out to sea.

Tomorrow is a package
we unwrap
one day at a time.

Life in this material dimension
is a workshop
for the human spirit,
where each day
the soul
and the ego
jockey for position.

Opinion
is relative to the experience
and the age
of the individual.

A question everyone needs
to ask themselves:
Am I really
the captain
of my own soul?
