Day 16: LeAnn Rimes - But I Do Love You
I swear, a little stomach bug and you're behind two days! Well, this was going to be an interesting week just because of the theme anyway! So, here we go again.

I'm not sure why I like the Coyote Ugly soundtrack, or the movie for that matter. Perhaps I am a sap, but try proving it! Either way, for some reason it gets to me. Then, when I read that Rimes had done a couple of the songs out of her normal vocal range, and ends up signing a duet with herself. I was impressed. I enjoy her voice and I found a really nice video of the track I like best. I was discussing once if you could have three people sing to you, who would they be? Well, this would be one, and since Etta James passed away, the other two will probably show up on this list later. I missed Etta James by one day, I was flying out the night of her concert and couldn't change it. I'll always regret that.

If you hear me tell a story about Las Vegas, it's because I tend to visit often. We like to take people with us when we go sometimes. On one trip, our favorite bartender and her boyfriend went with us. We ended up in Coyote Ugly, which is properly located in New York New York, but it's still just a theme bar. Well, I figured we could have one drink, and let her dance on the bar, because that's the "thing" there. She's not up there two minutes when the crowd roars. I look at her friend and he's already shaking his head. I found out moments later, because she runs up, quite upset, with bouncers right behind her. Apparently she accidentally flashed the crowd. Seems like that's a big problem for them. In Vegas... I told them since she was en exotic dancer, they ought to give her a free t-shirt! We never got our drink.
