Politics  (18+)
No one single person is truly represented by any political party. Politics is greed.

where I found a slogan that I thought might get some responses. No mudslinging please.

Prompt: "No one single person is truly represented by any political party."

What do you think? Is a person truly represented by a political party?

No. I do not believe any single person is ever served by a political party. I believe they serve their own agenda. I am having a big political debate on Facebook as we speak because my brother does not believe the government can force him to wear a mask. I told him that the government was put in place by God and that governors and leaders are appointed by God (Romans 13:1-4 and 1 Peter 2: 13-15.

Of course, he argues ignorantly that God did not appoint our governor or that you do not have to obey the governor if the governor is breaking the law. The governor is trying to keep people healthy, which is love and love is God's first commandment. The governor is breaking no law of God so their argument is a moot point.

I do believe the government often serves its own interests. I also believe and have believed for a long time that neither party currently here in the USA has the best interests of the poor at heart. They pass bills that will increase prices ultimately but most of our population is on a fixed income. Prices will go up and their incomes will stay the same. Where is the representation in that?

Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs Prompt: “Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured.”― Mark Twain

What are your thoughts about anger?"

I totally agree. I am always telling others that forgiveness will not help the person we are angry with one bit. However, it will prevent us from being saddled down with a ton of anger. Carrying all of that anger is like holding onto a bag of gravel and dragging it wherever we go. We take it to bed. We take it to work. We carry it everywhere. The more anger we have the heavier the bag gets. Eventually the bag becomes a skyscraper and we are yoked to it trying to pull it. The following picture is not the best, but its all I could find. Imagine these straps attached to a skyscraper and the man trying to walk and pull the skyscraper behind! Anger does that to us. It cripples us. When you are angry ask yourself how much the person or situation you are angry with is paying you to be angry? They aren't suffering. You are! For a Blog Entry

Blog City image small "Prompt: What is the most independent thing you have ever done?"

I would have to think on that one. I really don't know. I have always been a people person. Independence indicates being totally alone. Maybe going to college online. I do all my classwork alone and learn independently.
