Barely Twelve

What is the usual reason why I don’t get more writing done at work? That’s right. It’s work. Unfortunately, that’s what happened to me at work yesterday. It wasn’t just very, very busy there, but it was constantly busy. What does that mean? That’s hard to explain. But I will try to do it. It means that I was on my feet almost constantly. I barely sat down. And I had to get up again.

As a result, I only got twelve single paragraphs written at work yesterday. That includes two Establishing Shots and ten scene paragraphs. I’m not all that surprised that I only got that many of them written. After all, it is a Thursday. And that’s the way that it used to be. I just hope that’s not going to be the way it is now again.

Today, I’m wondering how many single paragraphs that I will be able to get written for the fourth episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. If it’s like it has been lately, I should be able to get about fifteen or more of them written today. But if it’s like yesterday, then I will be lucky if I get ten more written. I’m hoping that it will be the first one. But I’m not going to count on that until it happens.
