Unfortunately, No Writing Today So Far

It’s true. I don’t want it to be true. But it is. This is the first chance that I have gotten to get on my laptop and do any writing today. And the only reason why I’m on it now is to write this blog entry. After all, I don’t want to miss another blogging day if I can help it. That isn’t the only reason why I’m doing this blog entry now. It’s just the main one.

I’m also doing it because I want to tell you why I haven’t gotten any writing done today. What is the usual reason why I don’t get anything written? That’s right. It’s either because of what my brother and I needed to do today or it’s because of my lack of sleep. Unfortunately, it’s both of them today. But it’s mostly the lack of sleep, though.

My brother and I did have a little bit that needed to be done today. But it didn’t take us that long to do it. Most of today I spent trying to catch up on the sleep that I didn’t get too much of last night. Don’t ask me why I didn’t get very little sleep last night. Because I don’t know. That happens sometimes. Especially, on the first day of my days off from work.

Today hasn’t been a total loss when it comes to my writing. It’s true, I haven’t physically done any writing until I started this blog entry. But I have thought about the WDC Short Story for this month. It finally got posted sometime yesterday. And it didn’t take me too long to remember a Short Story for this contest. Unfortunately, that is all that I have been doing all day today. Thinking about it. Maybe that’s why I didn’t get too much sleep last night.

That’s not all that I have been thinking about today, though. I have also been thinking about the latest Short Story for The Musicology Anthology Challenge. I’m way behind in writing them. In fact, I’m so far behind I may not get them all written by the end of this challenge.

Unfortunately, tomorrow may not be too good for either one of these short stories. Then again, it may not be as bad as I think that it may be. After all, we do need to do something tomorrow. But it’s going to start early in the morning. And it should be done by the middle of the afternoon. If that’s true, I may be able to get some writing done tomorrow. Maybe even a lot of it. That’s if I can get some sleep tonight.
