How green the summer always grows!
In sun, in shade.
What wondrous growing things we see!
For thee He made.

The ferns they grow beneath the elm
in shaded bliss.
Dianthus grown in sun or shade.
Obeyed His kiss.

Hibiscus blooms of colors three
make glad my heart.
Caladiums so free in hue.
Joy through each start.

Nandina's stalwart through the year.
In heat, in cold.
Faux heather purples summers days,
displays untold.

Rosemary's blest, this goodly herb
through months of twelve.
When cut, aromas fill the house,
blest spouse, from shelf.
