The Days of Life

The days of life are fading fast
upon this Terran road.
Make sure thy Home in Everlast,
secure be thine abode.

This thumbnail of the fullest Day
we live, must choose aright,
before our works are on display.
Two roads are Day or Night.

Embracing paltry gold of Earth,
forgetting what's to come
will miss the blessings of New Birth,
while grasping sand for sum.

The greatest values of this world
are merely pavement there.
His lasting flag is full unfurled
with greatest pomp and care.

True life we've not begun to live.
These fading bodies die,
but everlasting life He'll give
to those, who to Him cry.
