Finding Our Way

The way we go has many choices
for each living day.
For many are the noisy voices,
demanding us, “Obey.”

We wonder at the truest way
for our daily steps.
The cost of living can dismay,
and sink us in it’s depths.

But when we know not what to do,
just take it to the Lord,
and find in Him, the Friend, Who’s True
as written in His Word.

He may require we walk some rough,
uneven places, now,
before He speaks the word, “Enough,”
to cause our foes to bow.

The days of trudging through the Earth
may mystify, distress,
but those, who know His great New Birth
will live His love to bless.
