To 'Abdu'l-Baha

He is Baha'u'llah's gift to the Baha'is,
Appointed the Center of his father's Covenant,
Preferred the title Servant of Baha,
Passed his life in service to humanity,
In all of his actions he reflected Divine Attributes,
Never angry, he demonstrated patience,
Expressed his joy through praise and prayer,
Steadfast in obedience to God,
Stayed the course no matter what the obstacle.
