Unfortunately, I didn’t get too much writing done yesterday at work for the second part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. And the worst part about it is that I don’t understand why I only got five scenes written for this project. It should have been a few more at the very least. If not quite a few more since it was a Saturday.

What is the usual reason why I don’t get more writing done while at work? That’s right. It’s either work or the weather or both. Unfortunately, it was neither of them. Work was a normal Saturday. Not too busy at all. As for the weather, it wasn’t that bad either. Some sun toward the evening hours. But most of the day it was partly cloudy. With some of it completely or almost completely cloudy.

The only thing that I can think of as to why I didn’t write more is that it was me. But I don’t understand that either. After all, it wasn’t the lack of sleep or concentration. Those are what usually means that I don’t get as much writing done as I should have. But if it’s not one of them or work-related, then what did happen to me yesterday at work?

Come to think about it. Which I have just done. I may have at least a partial reason why I get more writing done. That’s because I sort of did. What does that mean? It means that it’s true I only got five numeric scenes written. But I kind of did about seven or eight. No, those two or three weren’t Establishing Shots. They were re-writes. I had some problems with a few of those five scenes. That’s because I know what I wanted to write. But I didn’t know how to write them.

So, in a way, I did write seven or eight scenes yesterday at work. but only five of them counted. If that is true, I hope that I can write that many today while at work. Not the re-writes, but the seven, eight, or more part of yesterday. It being a Sunday I may be able to do that. Then again, maybe I won’t. Like Saturdays, I haven’t had much luck on Sundays either. I may be lucky if I get five more written.
