A Kind of Busy Wednesday

Despite it being very busy yesterday at work I still got five more scenes written for the second part of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. That may not read like a lot of writing. But it is. Those five scenes equal seventy-five lines. That’s very good. At least I think that it is. Especially, considering I did them at work yesterday.

Like this blog title above reads, it was very, very busy at work yesterday. A lot of my Wednesdays lately have been busy like it was yesterday. But not as busy as this one. Not only was I outside my guard post about three or four times what I am normally, but I had to get up at least three or four times more on the inside too. As a result, that’s part of the reason why I didn’t get more writing done yesterday.

In a way, I did more than five scenes yesterday at work. Why am I writing that? It’s because I had a little trouble with a couple of them. I knew what I wanted to write. But I didn’t know the best way to write it. One I almost had to do a complete re-write. That meant erasing all that needed re-writing. And that was pretty much all of it. the second wasn’t quite as bad. But I had to erase a whole lot of it too. At least half. If not a little bit more than that.

Today, I would like to get eight scenes written. If I can do that then I will end this movie script. I don’t think that I will be able to do that many, though. My average has been five lately. Especially, during the weekdays. And if I’m lucky, I may get that many written. I’m not going to count on anything until it happens. After all, I don’t know what will happen at work today. And I’m not just writing about where I work either.

True, it has been very busy on Thursdays lately. Just as busy as Wednesdays. If not a little bit busier. And if that’s true today too, I may be lucky if I get five scenes written today. It’s not just where I work, though. Nothing happened to me yesterday at work when it comes to who I work for. But that doesn’t mean it won’t happen today. If it does, I will deal with it. just like I do with where I work at too.
