An End to a Movie
An End to a Movie

That’s right. I finished writing the second part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. But it came at a big price. I will never know if I could have gotten the eight scenes written yesterday at work on my own if what happened didn’t happen.

What am I writing about? The reason why I got so many scenes written yesterday at work is that there wasn’t too much else for me to do there. True, I had a lot of work to do because it was a typical Thursday there. In fact, it was one of the busiest Thursdays that I have seen in a long time. That’s how busy it was.

I also had my lunch and dinner to eat. And some snacks too. That also isn’t the reason why I got so much writing done yesterday. The main reason is me. I forgot my cell phone battery charger. As a result, I couldn’t watch any tv or movies at work yesterday. Yes, I could have watched a few hours before the battery went dead. But I didn’t want to take any chances of that happening. So, I decided not to risk it.

Without being able to watch tv and movies is why I wrote so much yesterday at work. but that’s not all, though. I got those eight scenes done in the first five hours of my shift. That means I still have three hours to work on episode one of the television series. But I couldn’t do that. I probably would have gotten another three to five scenes written. Only my battery charger wasn’t the only thing that I forgot yesterday. I also forgot the Outlines for episode one.

So, today I will be starting to write episode one of this project. I don’t know how much of it I will be able to get written. I’m hoping that it’s a lot. But I may be lucky if I get seven scenes written. And that includes two Establishing Shots. It all depends on how busy it gets at work today and if there are any problems with who I work for.

The last couple of days have been very good when it comes to who I work for. And except for being very, very busy, work has been okay too. But I never know about either one. I hope that it stays the same as the last two days. A little less busy would be great too. But I’m not going to count on anything until it happens. I do know one thing, though. Whatever does happen, it isn’t going to stop me from writing. It may slow me down some. But it won’t stop me. I also know that I’m going to get as much writing as I can write today.
