Chapter 1 Attempting the Mindwalk
Room in Chester Castle
Boudica taking the challenge of the Mindwalk Pavilion
Bridget’s commentary on who is present and participating
Bodica’s POV description of what is happening

Chapter 2 Coronation
Boudica declared Queen
Feast and celebrations in castle halls and courtyards
Whispered conversations of disquiet
Llewelyn puts idea of rape into Dafydd’s mind

Chapter 3 Attempted rape of Boudica
Drunken Dafydd makes his attack on new Queen
Bridget renders him incapable by cutting his hamstrings

Chapter 4 Aftermath of rape attempt – Council Meeting
Dafydd sentenced to death, but no torture.
Boudica deeply unhappy at his betrayal of their childhood friendship
Cecil questions Dafydd before his execution, and promises a quick death

Chapter 5 Arrival of Bayezid
Bayezid wishes to attempt the Mindwalk Pavilion
Made clear that anyone can attempt this, though this is not usually anyone outside of the Celts
Change of tack by Bayezid
Scheming of Bayezid’s brother.

Chapter 6 Roman block
Meeting of Pater, Prefect and Bernardo Bruno – to discuss implications of Boudica as Queen
Prefect of Iberia to seek Boudica’s hand in marriage
Private discussion between Pater and Bruno about the secret project and it’s progress

Chapter 7 Polish block
Pater Mattias and others discuss Boudica, decide to suggest an alliance – and to send an
ambassador to propose this.

Chapter 8 Albion Court
Boudica in discussions with Roger Asham and John Dee about new library – expanding
the existing to become a new Alexandrian Library – discussion of Technology as a way forwards
plans to create a centre for Technological study and advancement – and to poach European
Scientists etc

Chapter 9 Reflection
Boudica enters the Mindwalk Pavilion alone. Hints of it being more, her explorations.

Chapter 10 Roman Block
The Mithraides – introduction of Iliaster – description of his past
Description of his studies, the effects on him. His breakthrough discovery
(aided by a chance piece of intelligence about Bayezid’s arrival


Chapter 11 Rome block
Meeting of Iliaster, Pater, Bernardo Bruno and Prefect of Iberia
Plot described.
Pater persuaded to commit troops.

Chapter 12 Wheels in Motion
Preparations for Invasion
Boudica and Council learn of Invasion preparations
Singing the Prefect’s beard – Ship building harrying
Capture of Henry the Navigators Library

Chapter 13 Assassination of William Cecil
Aftermath of assassination
Immanent threat of Invasion force
Boudica and Council assemble in Mindwalk Pavilion

Chapter 14 Attack on Boudica and Council by Iliaster
Heroic self sacrifice of council member
Mental conflict of Boudica and Iliaster. Iliaster taunts Boudica about Cecil’s death
Boudica’s anger – Iliaster wiped out of the Mindwalk Pavilion
All of Council also swept from Pavilion by force of ‘blast’

Chapter 15 Climax
Boudica discovers inner strength to create storm on her own
Europe in darkness – Boudica’s power darkens the sky as far away as Rome
causing massive consternation.
Description of destruction of Iberian fleet

Chapter 16 Resolution
Boudica’s power expended, drawn into Mindwalk, following a new pathway
Glimpse of new potential beyond her known experience there.

Chapter 17 Closure
