Still Working on This Short Story

Accomplished what I wanted to do with my WDC Short Story for this month before I went to sleep last night. I wanted to get to the halfway point of this story. And that’s what I did. Unfortunately, that’s all that I did. I should have gotten the second half of the third second done too. Why am I writing that? It’s because of what happened to me today. That’s why.

I knew that we had one thing that needed to be done before I went to the newest James Bond movie today. But I didn’t think that it was going to take that long to do. I was very wrong about that. It took about twice as long as I thought that it would take. As a result, I didn’t get to my movie until the middle of the afternoon. And by the time it was over, so was the day.

After I got home, it was time to decide what we were going to do for dinner. Once we did that, we went to get it. I ate it as quickly as I could after we got it back home. But I’m a slow eater. What does that mean? It means that I only had about a half-hour to work on my WDC Short Story for this month before I started writing this blog.

It was long enough to get the second half of the third part written. But nothing more so far. Of course, after I finish writing and posting this blog entry, I’m going to go back to it. So, I may still get it done before I get to sleep tonight. After all, I only have about eight hundred words left to write.

I may get this Short Story written tonight. But I don’t think that I will be able to do a Grammarly check on it or create it before I go to sleep tonight. Will have to wait until I get off work tomorrow to do both of them. That’s if I feel like doing it.

If it’s like a normal Wednesday at work, I may not feel up to doing both. But I will force myself to do it. That way I can plug it and ask for reviews. I don’t know if I will do that or not. But with just over two weeks away, I probably will. A lot depends on if I can get it created tomorrow after work.
