Holy Places:
To 'Abdu'l-Baha

He walked upon Carmel--
the Mountain of the Lord--
and deposited the bones of the Bab
in their final resting place
half-way up
the Holy mountain.

In America,
he removed the first shovel of dirt
for the placement of the corner stone
for The Baha'i House of Worship for North America  .

Now--
one hundred years after his death--
we work
and sacrifice
to complete
his shrine on Mount Carmel
near that of the Bab.
