Another Five Yesterday

Unfortunately, I only got five scenes written on the first episode of My Water Wars scriptwriting project television series. I may have been able to get one or two more scenes written. But I don’t think that I would have. Especially, not two of them. I don’t even think I could have gotten one more written. But with a little over an hour to spare it was a possibility. Then again, maybe it wasn’t. After all, it was a Thursday.

It was a very normal Thursday. What does that mean? It means that it was very busy yesterday at work. maybe not quite as busy as it has been lately for a Thursday. But if it wasn’t, it was a very close second or third. That’s how busy it was. The first and last two hours were very busy. That is why I didn’t think I would get any more scenes written. As for the middle four, they were quite busy too. Just not as busy as the other four.

Work isn’t why I only got five scenes written yesterday at work. there are two reasons why I did that. One of them is because it’s a weekday. The other one is because that seems to be my average. Of course, I want it to be better than that. But five isn’t that bad. If I can get five of them written, I think it’s a good day for my writing. About the only time that it may be more than five is if they are Establishing Shots.

More than five a day may change slightly, though. Right now, the only extra scenes are the Establishing Shots. And there are usually only the two at the beginning of the Act. Sometimes one during the Act. Like it was in the movie. But most of the time it will be only in the beginning. What I’m trying to write is that the extra scenes will be like Establishing Shots with only a few lines and a paragraph or two. These extras will be part of the scene.

Sometimes these extras will be before a flashback. That won’t happen very often. But it will happen once in a while. Most of the time these extras will be because of an attack that’s going on. And what is happening outside of their InWaterStructure because of that attack. There may be other times when it’s for another reason that I haven’t remembered yet. But like the ones just mentioned, it will be part of the story.
Today, I hope that I will get more than five scenes written. But I’m not going to count on anything until it happens. After all, it is a Friday aka a weekday. That’s not the only reason I may not get more scenes written. My average is one more reason. Of course, how busy it gets at work today and if anything happens because of who I work for may decide how much writing I get done. If I’m lucky, I may get five written. But even that isn’t a guarantee.
