Episode One, Act One
Episode One, Act One

It was extremely busy at work yesterday. One of the busiest Wednesdays that I have seen in a long time. And that is saying a lot. After all, there have been a lot of extremely busy Wednesdays in the last few months. I thought it was because it was the summer. And it was to a certain degree. But summer has been over for about a month. If not a little bit longer than that. And it’s still extremely busy.

Work isn’t the only reason why I didn’t get more writing done yesterday at work. it may have been the main one. But it wasn’t the only one, though. Who I work for and I am also a reason too. Workwise, we got a new Site Supervisor for where I work at. I don’t know too much about him. So, I don’t know what will happen yet. Yesterday was okay. But how long that will last who knows.

Wondering out our new Site Supervisor may have slowed me down a little bit when it comes to the first episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project television series. But I don’t think it affected this project that much. If it affected, it at all. Too bad I can’t write the same thing about me.

No, it wasn’t because of a lack of concentration or sleep as it usually is. But it did take me a long time to write the first of five scenes that I wanted to get written yesterday to end Act One of this episode. It took me almost two hours to write it. That’s why I wasn’t sure if I would even get five scenes written yesterday at work. Luckily, the other four didn’t take that long to write. They took about an hour each. And most of that was because of work.

I did get them written to end Act One of this first episode. With about an hour and a half left on my shift, I probably could have gotten the two Establishing Shots for Act Two written. Plus one or two numeric scenes. If was a day other than Wednesday, I most likely would have gotten them written. But not on Wednesdays now. Why is that? That’s because my replacement has been coming in about an hour and fifteen minutes early. At least he has the last two weeks.

Today, I’m starting Act Two of this episode. I don’t know how busy it’s going to get at work today or if something happens with who I work for. But I should be able to get at least seven scenes written today. That includes the two Establish Shots that start off each one of my Acts. Then again, maybe I won’t. however many that I get written, I’m going to get as many of them as I can do.
