Melodious voices rise
singing hymns to the Abhá Beauty1,
proclaiming the Glory of God
in music and song.

Following the Master's2 advice--
we praise through the Musician's Art,
and set the sacred scriptures to music.

Song by song
we prepare food
for the hungry soul
and liquid
for the thirsty mind.
