What is Worse Than a Split Shift?

There is only one thing worse than a split shift at work. That’s if it’s a full shift at what I call the main gate. It wasn’t quite that bad, though. True, it was a full shift. But it wasn’t at the main gate. It was at my old post. So, it was very close to being what is worse.

Being at the main gate would have been worse, but this was a very close second. Luckily, it was a Sunday. So, it wasn’t as bad as a weekday. But it was very bad. True, I still didn’t have too much time to write. I did get a little bit written on the first episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Unfortunately, I only got one or two scenes written. That’s how busy it was last Sunday.

I’m not sure how many scenes that I wrote last Sunday. But it couldn’t have been more than two. Maybe it was three at the most. Only I don’t think that it was three. If I was lucky, it would have been two. Whatever it was, I’m going to continue working on it today. I’m just sure how much of it I will be able to do today.

It all depends on how busy it gets at work and if anything else happens to me there. Lately, it has been very busy on a Wednesday. And if that is true today, I may be lucky if I get five scenes written today on this project. I’m hoping that I can write a few more than that today. But I’m not going to count on anything until it happens.
