Finally, Some Good News

Unfortunately, my good news isn’t about my Water Wars scriptwriting project. But it is about my Short Story that I am writing for this month’s WDC Contest. No, I didn’t get it written yesterday at work. I did get five-ninths of it done. That only leaves about four hundred words left to finish it.

I don’t know if I will finish writing it today or not. But I think that I may have a very good chance of doing it. Then again, maybe I won’t. After all, this is the start of our busy season where I work. It was more like a Saturday at work yesterday because it was Thanksgiving. but today is Black Friday. So, it may be very, very busy there today.

I’m not sure how busy it’s going to be today. I have been trying to remember if it was last year. But I can’t remember what it was like a year ago. If it was busy, it will be just as busy as it was last year. Maybe even busier this one. After all, this year is a little different. And that’s because of the new change that started this week.

If I’m lucky, it won’t be too busy today. But I have a feeling it will be. And because of the change, it will be a lot worse this year than it was last year. I hope that I am wrong about this one too. But I don’t think that I will be. Just hope that it’s not going to be too bad.

I think that it will be. Especially, because of the new change. But I don’t think that it will be so bad that I can’t write about four hundred words to finish this Short Story. I may not get any more than that. that’s all that I need, though.

Sure I would like to get started on my second Short Story for this month. And it’s not out of the question of me starting it. But there is also a very good chance that I won’t too because of how busy it gets at work today. I hope that I can do both. If I can’t, I should be able to finish my WDC Short Story. But I’m not going to count on even that until it happens.
