Very Little Writing Today So Far

I knew that we had some things that needed to be done today. And that it would take a lot of the day to do them. But I didn’t expect it to take almost the whole day. Unfortunately, it did. And the worst part is that it started very early this morning. As a result, I didn’t get too much done on my WDC Short Story for this month.

Yes, I did get a little bit written on it. Not the story itself, but I did write the single sentences for the parts in it. Now all I need to do is start writing it. I’m going to try to do that before I go to sleep tonight. But I probably won’t be able to do it for a couple of reasons. One reason is I’m still tired from all that needed to be done today. The second reason is that I didn’t get too much sleep last night.

It’s not all bad, though. It is true, I didn’t get that much sleep last night. But in trying to get to sleep, I came up with my single sentences for the sections of my Short Story for the WDC Contest this month. if I don’t get to it tonight, I’m going to try to do it after work tomorrow. At least that’s what I plan on doing. whether I do it or not is still up in the air.

I want to work on it every night after work. But very seldom do I get the chance to do that. Why is that? There are several reasons why I don’t. But the main one is that I’m too tired to do it. Another reason is that I don’t feel like doing it. Whether it’s because I’m tired or I don’t feel like it, it doesn’t get written.

Yes, I know that I need to force myself to work on this Short Story. No matter how tired I am or how I feel. And I plan on doing that. But for one reason or another, I don’t do it. I’m going to try very hard to force myself to do it no matter what. After all, I can’t count on my days off to do it. Not unless I only want to write only one Short Story this month. And I don’t want to do that.
