As Far As I Know

Today, I’m heading back to work. And who knows what they will be doing to me. The big question is whether it will be where I work, who I work for, or both. Anything is possible when it comes to both of them. As far as I know, I’m going to be returning to my regular post today. But after what happened to me last week at work, I’m not going to count on anything until it happens.

From my blog entry Title and my first paragraph that I didn’t get any writing done on my scriptwriting last Sunday. Unfortunately, I didn’t. What is the usual reason why I don’t get any writing done at work? Actually, there are a couple of them. Either I’m working a split shift or I’m working all of my shift at my old post. it’s kind of both reasons that happened to me last Sunday.

No, I didn’t work my whole shift at my old post. But I did work the first four hours of it there. It wasn’t as bad as it was last Wednesday when I worked a split shift there. That’s because it wasn’t that busy there. True, it was very busy there. But not even close to being as busy as it was only a few days ago. I was on my feet only about half the time as I was on Wednesday.

As it turned out, I probably could have gotten the first episode single sentences written last Sunday after all. But I didn’t realize that until about halfway through the first four hours of my shift. And by that time it was too late for me to start writing it. As a result, I didn’t get any of my writing done last Sunday because I just didn’t feel like doing it.

I still have the second half of my first episode to write in single sentences to finish it. And I should be able to do it. After all, that’s the way it has been happening for the last week or two. Even when it was busy at work, I got half of them done. The only thing that stopped me from doing it was me getting split shifts because someone called in sick. I’m not allowed to do that. But everyone else can do it anytime they want to. Including just before they are supposed to be there.
