Nothing Unusual Happened Yesterday
Nothing Unusual Happened Yesterday

It was a pretty normal yesterday at work. Kind of busy. But not as busy as it has been lately. It was like it used to be on a Wednesday. maybe slightly busier that way back then. But that could be because it’s January. And it’s sort of busy where I work in January. Not as busy as it has been for the last month or two. But still very busy.

Despite it being busy, I still got ninety single sentences for the first episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. And that is all that I needed to finish the Scene Outline for this episode. True, I could have started the second episode. And any other day of my work week, I probably could have gotten at least the Teaser Act done. But not yesterday.

Why could I get at least the Teaser Act of episode two done yesterday at work? It’s because Wednesday is the day that my replacement comes in an hour or so early. Shift-wise, I may have had two hours left of my shift. But in actuality, I only had about an hour. Still might have been able to get another twenty written in the seventh hour. Then again, maybe not. It was quite busy during that seventh hour.

The eighth hour was kind of busy too. So, there was a very good chance that I may not have even gotten twenty single sentences written for this project. I know that I should have tried to do it anyway. Even if I didn’t get all of them for that Act written. But I choose not to do that. Why didn’t I try to do it? Because I don’t like leaving partial Acts unfinished. That’s okay within a script. But not for my Story or Scene Outlines. Especially, the Scene Outlines.

Today, I’m going to start writing episode two. I hope that I can get at least ninety of them written today. But that all depends on what happens where I work and who I work for. Mostly it depends on who I work for. After all, it could be another split shift. As far as I know, I will be working my regular post today. And if I do, I should be able to get ninety of them written. I may even be able to get one hundred and twenty-five of them written. I’m going to count on the one hundred and twenty-five until it happens, though.
